  • On 13 October 2022 the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022 (the Bill) was passed in the Queensland Parliament.
  • The Bill made changes to the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (the National Law), including changing the name of the Agency Management Committee to the Ahpra Board.
  • The Ahpra website will now reference the Ahpra Board, instead of the Agency Management Committee. However, documents that were published prior to the Bill passing, and that are tied to a specific date (such as communiqués) will retain the former title of Agency Management Committee.
