Ahpra and the National Boards do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the websites, or the sites to which they link. Ahpra or a National Boards accept no responsibility for any damages arising from the loss of use of this information. Ahpra and the National Boards take all reasonable steps to make sure that the National Registers are accurate and up to date.

As a condition of your use of the websites, you agree that you will not use the websites for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions. Nor will you do anything that has an impact on the performance of the websites nor interfere with the operation of the websites or the display of information on the website pages. Ahpra and the National Boards do not grant rights to download (other than page caching) or modify the registers, or any portion of them.

The reproduction and use of names and addresses on this website and the National Registers for commercial purposes is prohibited. Under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009, Ahpra and the National Boards may give a person a copy of the National Register only if Ahpra or the National Boards are satisfied it would be in the public interest to do so. A fee may be charged for this service.

The Ahpra and National Board websites may automatically collect anonymous information about your visits, such as your browser type, how long you stay on the site and what pages you visit. None of this information is linked to you and is used by Ahpra and the National Boards to monitor general use of the websites and help improve the websites by identifying which sections are most and least used.

Ahpra and the National Boards use Google Analytics to collect data to aggregate and analyse customer usage patterns on all websites. Ahpra encourages hyperlinking to Ahpra or Health Practitioner Board websites from websites that support our vision, mission and values and who wish to promote our work. The following principles apply:

Linking from Ahpra or Board websites to other websites

Requests to create hyperlinks from Ahpra or Health Practitioner Board websites to another website should be made to the Ahpra Communications Manager and following initial assessment, requests may be submitted to the relevant Health Practitioner Board or Ahpra Executive for consideration. Requests are considered based on their benefit to Ahpra and the relevant Board, and may include evaluation against the criteria below:

  • Links on Ahpra or Board websites of a commercial nature are only provided if they relate directly to the work of Ahpra and will provide benefits to health practitioner regulation
  • Ahpra may create links to other government or not-for-profit organisations if they relate directly to the work of Ahpra and only when Ahpra has been granted permission to do so by the relevant organisation
  • Ahpra will not link to individual or personal websites

Ahpra and the National Boards review all policies from time to time. Whenever a policy is changed or updated, a new version will be posted on the site.
