How long the notification process will take depends on the complexity of the matter and how long it takes to gather the relevant information.
In most cases, we try to finish the assessment process within 60 days and most notifications are closed within 90 days.
During this period, we will contact the notifier to make sure we have all the relevant information about the concerns.
Usually, the health practitioner involved in the concern is also contacted and may be asked to give information to help our risk assessment.
