Call for applications – CMBA Examination Committee

The Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) is calling for applications for appointment to the CMBA Examination Committee.

The CMBA has established the Examination Committee to ensure the Board has access to the necessary expert advice on written and clinical examination results in accordance with good assessment practice and examination governance.

The role of the Committee is to provide expert advice in managing risks related to operation of the examinations and will facilitate:

  1. the reliability and validity of examination tools and processes
  2. the transparency and defensibility of assessment outcomes, and
  3. the consistency across examination sessions.

The committee will also make recommendations to the Board related to the operation of the examinations.

The National Scheme has a commitment to increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ leadership and voices. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are warmly invited to apply, as are people from rural or regional areas in Australia.
