Call for applications – National committees of the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia

12 Jan 2026

Applications are sought from experienced registered Chinese Medicine practitioners and members of the community for appointment to the following committees of the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (the Board):

  • Policy Planning and Communications Committee (PPCC)
    • one practitioner member vacancy
  • Registration and Notifications Committee (RNC)
    • one community member vacancy

The PPCC considers and advises the Board on any emerging issues that may have strategic or policy implications as well as prepare and draft codes and guidelines for Board consideration and stakeholder consultation.

The RNC decides applications for registration and assess all notifications, and compliance matters regarding Chinese Medicine health practitioners.

The National Registration and Accreditation Scheme has an important role in ensuring the health workforce is culturally safe, respectful, responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ needs and promotes the elimination of racism in health care.

To help achieve this, we are committed to increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander leadership and voices on Boards and committees and warmly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to apply.

To view the vacancy and submit an application, please visit the Committee member recruitment page.

For general enquiries, please email [email protected].

Applications close on on Sunday 8 February 2026 at 11.55pm, Australian Eastern Standard Time.
