The Health Profession Boards’ primary role is to protect the public. The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) manages the registration and notification handling processes for health practitioners and students across Australia.
State, territory and regional boards exercise their functions in the jurisdiction to provide an effective and timely local response to health practitioners and other persons.
There are multiple practitioner member and community member vacancies arising on three Boards.

To be eligible for appointment as a practitioner member, you must hold current registration in the profession and be from the state or territory specified above.
Board appointments are made by the State and Territories Minister for Health under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory. Appointments are for up to three years, with eligibility for reappointment.
