Call for applications to the Tasmanian Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) supports the 14 National Health Profession Boards in their primary role of protecting the public. AHPRA manages the registration and notification handling processes for health practitioners and students across Australia.

State, territory and regional boards exercise their functions in the jurisdiction to provide an effective and timely local response to health practitioners and other persons.

Applications are now sought from Nursing and Midwifery practitioners from Tasmania to fill a vacancy on the Tasmanian Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

Tasmanian Board appointments are made by the Tasmanian Minister for Health under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory. Appointments are for up to three years, with eligibility for reappointment, and are expected to commence in mid 2016.
