Australian Health Workforce Ministerial Council approves mandatory registration standards for four 2012 health professions.
The Australian Health Workforce Ministerial Council has confirmed its approval of mandatory registration standards that the following four health professions must meet when they join the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme on 1 July 2012: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practice, Chinese medicine practice, medical radiation practice and occupational therapy. The mandatory national registration standards for each of these professions will be published on National Board websites on Monday, 16 January 2012 under the heading Registration Standards.
