Health Complaints Entities

The role of the Health Complaints Entities (HCEs) is to investigate complaints about health systems or health service providers. The HCEs can also investigate certain notifications about health practitioners. The HCEs work with AHPRA to make sure each notification is investigated by the appropriate agency.

AHPRA works with the Health Complaints Entities in each State and Territory to make sure the appropriate organisation investigates community concerns about registered health practitioners.
