Chinese Medicine Board updates position on translating publications

25 Jul 2018

The Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (the Board) has updated its position statement on translating publications from the Board.

The updated position statement states that on a case-by-case basis the Board takes into account the following criteria:

  • Whether the document relates to a significant public safety issue.
  • The primacy / relevance of the document to that issue.
  • The existence of complaints or other concerns related to the issue.
  • The cost-benefit of providing in-language publications.

The full position statement can be found on the Position statements page of the Board’s website, and a Chinese version will also be available soon.
