To help the National Scheme protect the public the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (the National Law) includes provisions about advertising regulated health services. In this section you can find out how advertising regulation works under the National Law, about our advertising guidelines and other useful information about advertising for registered health practitioner and consumers.

Fact sheets provide information about National Board requirements for all practitioners registered in the national scheme. Further information is also available on the websites of the National Boards.

 

Under the National Law, the Boards and AHPRA work in partnership to implement the National Scheme, each with specific roles, powers and responsibilities set down in the National Law.

Accreditation reference publications are developed by AHPRA in collaboration with accreditation authorities and the National Boards.

Our newsletter, AHPRA report, is emailed periodically to provide updates on the work of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). View past issues and subscribe to receive this helpful resource.

This section contains copies of the National Boards' procedures and processes for developing accreditation standards, registration standards and going out to consultation.

A table of panel hearing decisions since July 2010. Summaries have been provided where there is educational and clinical value.
